ICOG Awards

1. ICOG Innovative Project Award
2. ICOG Prometheus Award

Submitting a project or individual for these awards helps highlight the impactful programs undertaken by member COGs and raises awareness of the vital work being done in public service, workforce development, economic development, and transit.

ICOG Innovative Project Award

This annual award, presented at the ICOG Staff Retreat, recognizes a COG project that demonstrates innovation and transformative impact on a community, county, or region.

Submission Objectives:

• Projects that would not have been possible without the involvement of the COG.

• Projects showcasing how the COG identified and delivered solutions for a community or region.

Projects highlighting collaboration with community leaders, funders, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.

ICOG Prometheus Award

"Bringing fire to the people"

This annual award, presented at the ICOG Staff Retreat, honors an individual or COG whose vision and dedication brought transformative ideas to life. It recognizes those whose efforts have significantly advanced a community project, even when COGs themselves may not receive direct recognition for their role.
